Day 8: Travel to Kasese

Today, Friday, we spent the whole day traveling to Kasese. We started out our journey by car to drop off my suitcase in Kampala at a friend's house for safe keeping, then by taxi (van), and walking through very crowded town (I couldn't take photos less I wanted my phone stolen) and then on a bus for 8 hours. Traffic jams make the travel long and rough roads with red dust and fumes make it difficult.
We are almost to Kasese as I type from the bus.  I'm excited to reach there because I felt like throwing up most of the trip. God is though and I actually slept on the bus a few times.
Oh and by the way, I now know what a "short stop" means.  It means walk outside the bus and go pee on the side of the road, with no covering, in a mass group of girls and guys.  Don't ask me how I know. So glad I wore a dress!
