Day 3: Entebbe, rest & visit

Sunday, Nov. 12: Even after traveling for 26.5 hours and only sleeping on the plane for about 2 hours I didn't sleep as well as I wanted on Saturday night.  Since it was Sunday today, I decided to rest and catch up with some friends who were going to school in the Kampala area.  It was great to hang out, talk, and walk around Entebbe a bit.  I also am trying to reorganize and repack my luggage as we will be leaving one bag at a friend's house in Kampala so we can travel a little lighter to Kasese, our next city to go to.

I was not very hungry all day but I figure my body is just adjusting to the time shift (Uganda 9 hours ahead of WI time). But other than that and tired I'm feeling fine, which is great considering my anti-malaria  pills usually make me feel sick. Praise the Lord for that.

I saw two little girls playing with old bicycle tires. I would have loved to grab a ball I packed and see if they want to play with me but it's hard reach out without seeming awkward or show boating it. I am praying that God would guide the way to reach out for Him.
