Dec 8th Friday and Dec. 9th, Saturday.
For many reasons; time, setting things up with pastors, etc.; the workshops would start on Monday. In the mean time, I made use of my bag of gifts I bought from home. I wrapped a few gifts up for my host family with bright Christmas paper and bows, an experience they hadn't really had before. I also had other gifts for any village people I saw who I thought could use it.
I had to find a nurse to give me my daily injections for my treatment.
I really felt poorly on Friday and spent most of the day in Busia resting in a friend's small clothing shop. Just for fun, Joshua tried on a few clothes there (see photos). Then Joshua went into Busia, on the Kenya side, to look for a different computer part for his studio. The shop owners were kind and they even provided me with a meal and a blanket to sleep on for a nap. I was waiting for Joshua to come back otherwise I would have just went "home" for a nap since my abdomen hurt.
